1. i do not like the grateful dead. never have, and i think it's safe to say, never will.

2. i have watched the entire season of the bachelor and i've loved every minute of it. i'm routin' for tessa. how bout you?

3. the other day, i was at a stoplight, and i looked over at the car to my right to see a woman tweezing her chin. odd, i thought. but also frightening, no? i mean, i've never had to tweeze my chin, but i have tweezed my brows, and i know it requires a bit of concentration. so to bust out the tweezers behind the wheel... i dunno.

4. i love foods that are tart, pickled and spicy. home made cole slaw, green olives, pickles, peppers. yum.

5. i cannot get down with the "ear bud". i see these people walking around the grocery store, or down the sidewalk, with their HANDS FREE, talking aloud, looking very, very strange (and crazy) as if they are talking to themselves. i just don't understand.

happy weekend, folks. we've got rain here today, but hopefully it'll clear up by tomorrow. we're hoping to do a little fishing in the morning!

as far as the woman tweezing her chin behind the wheel...i think i may have you beat: about 10+ years ago i was on my to work, driving down a busy state road with a lot of traffic on it, back in florida. anyway, when i was temporarily stopped, i looked over to my left and saw the woman in the next car, shaving....HER FACE.

yes, i'm sure it was a woman.

not sure why in the holy hell someone would do that while driving. sharp instrument on face? behind the wheel of a 1 ton vehicle? other people looking on? HELLO???

it's like some people don't even realize other people can see them when they are in their cars. you're not invisible, peeps! :P

Umm.
1. no grateful dead for me either. the only thing remotely close is ben & jerry's ice cream flavor "cherry garcia".
2.not into the bachelor this year. just isn't the same since ethan's famous make out video with explicit slurps and ah's. done me in.
3.I have had to pluck my chin. it's disgusting but true.

I too strongly dislike the dead, all my friends teased me when I went to Santa Cruz that I would become a deadhead, they claim its in the water, but no sir, I still can't stand 'em. Number 4 made me hungry, gonna go grab a pickle. I am waiting for friends to come over, and we are gonna try that Gin Dandy drink from Blueprint - I can't wait, I have the simple syrup chillling now!

you & me both about the grateful dead; it's unfortunate that that is an assumption we always have to deal with whilst driving our various vw busses around! i don't believe i will *ever* have any interest in listening to them.

Dare I say, I did see the dead once. I still like Ripple (in still water), but I also like the cover by Jane's Addiction too.

Once I was lip syncing alone in my car, driving on the expressway, I looked over and my friend's brother and his wife had slowed down on the to honk hello, but were hysterically laughing.
