cats have it made

you know that old saying, "when it rains, it pours"? it's been that sort of week. and it's only tuesday.
i wish i could say that it's rained happiness and sunshine in my world, but instead- in a blink of an eye practically- i went from wrapping up a website, and having my biggest worry be about weather or not i was going to actually meet my self-imposed deadline, to worrying about 3 different family members who have sudden medical issues, one of whom is in the ICU, another is requiring emergency surgery and the other is more complicated than i can even to get into at this time.
is this possible?
today i wish that things were simple, and i could roll around in a bathtub, endlessly entertained by a cotton ball.

Hey Frecklewonder!
Hang in there! We've all gone through times like those, and family comes first!
We anxiously await the return of the site goodies', but can certainly be patient...
Take care!

I hope things straighten themselves out soon, and that the rain turns into happiness and sunshine. But, in the meantime, sending lots of good thoughts and warm wishes your way.

I really wish you and your family to get better soon. I've been reading your blog for a while now but never had the "courage" or chance to write anything. In this occasion, though, I want to let you know that my warmest thoughts are with you and your family. take care

Life is so complicated sometimes. Take a minute and visualize yourself in the tub with a cotton ball. Woo hoo!

Thanks for sharing the good and the bad.
There's also this saying: Après la pluie, le beau temps. That's easier to express I know, as words of comfort. But just like the rest, my prayers are with you and dearly hope that everybody in your family recovers from life's trials and tribulations.
Take your time. We understand your situation.
My best wishes esp. to you Jenny,Matt,Henry and baby girl coming out soon.
