whole lotta stuff goin on
hello friends.
there are currently over 45 pairs of shoes laid out on my living room floor, getting their photos + measurements taken. all will be in the shop, which will very likely open this weekend. i hate to nail myself down to a specific day or time, as i have learned from many past shop updates that things always come up, little bugs need to be worked out, technical difficulties can make a person want to pull their own eyes out when a deadline must be broken. BUT, matt and i feel pretty darn confident about it being finished and ready for this weekend, as we are both wrapping up some last minute details. when we are ready to pull the trigger, i will give a little head's up in the blog, so that you guys can avoid sitting around and refreshing the page, as many people have told me they will be doing. of course that is the last thing i want- i don't want you all glued to your desks, waiting and wondering, with your little hearts pitter-pattering for a certain vintage piece- i want you to be out and about, doing your thing. just check in with the blog at some point tomorrow and i will let you know what the status is for a sunday launch, k?

Oh no...those green ones with the straps are MINE (if they're a size 7.5). They called to me from across the screen, and now I see that I already have competition!

The green pair with straps also caught my eye. Bright hue and sexy-looking. It's day 2 and I'm unable to open the shop's site though.
