as i've been considering ideas for the next collection, and cleaning my little basement studio for a fresh new year's start, it occurred to me that some of you might be interested in this vintage fabric that i've got coming out of my ears over here?
i am not sure how to offer it up, i was considering putting together some bundles and either offering them through the blog, or perhaps over on etsy? are any of you crafters/makers/doers in the need of a new year's boost to your fabric supply?
i have way too much and not enough time. so, please let me know.
also, this would help me a great deal with my new year's resolution.
*wink*
ETA: it should be mentioned that i grabbed this older picture from my flickr and since then, i have added a whole lot more to the collection. what you see above is a very small peek into my nutty obsession.
sounds like some of you are interested. i am going to spend the rest of the afternoon rooting through all the bins, and will post soon when i've figured out what the next step is. stay tuned, fabric junkies!!!
I would totally be interested in taking some of those pretties off your hands!

Well... it would be breaking my New Year's resolutions but I would definitely take some off your hands if I could find a way to not let my husband find out. ;P

Wow! It's as if the universe just heard my request for some fantastic vintage fabrics! I'm getting married in October and was hoping to make some pom-pom flower pins for my bridesmaids using various vintage fabrics in sunset colors--oranges, pinks, and golds. If you have any bundles that would fall into that category, I'd be happy to give them a new home.

I'd gladly help with thinning out your fabric supply! Vintage fabric for aprons is a guilty pleasure of mine!

I'd definitely buy a pretty bundle like this from Etsy. I got a new sewing machine for Christmas so a whole world of possibilities just opened right up for me...
I am a relative newcomer to your blog - it's really very inspiring!

I know you're trying to simplify but I can't sew! And I looove vintage fabrics. Any chance you might make some cute sets of cocktail napkins or uber-simple outdoor concert blankets or uber-simple outdoor picnic tablecloths just in time for the spring? Or super simple pillow cases to jazz up a sleepy winter den and remind us of the colors to come along with the warmer weather? I can commit to multiple purchases....

I just found your blog. I was searching ebay this morning for vintage to make a quilt. I almost missed my dentist appt. Beautiful fabrics and freckles.
